About Us

All are welcome to come and hear the Word of God at Claypool United Methodist Church. Our spirit-led services include uplifiting praise and worship music by our 30-member choir, scripture readings, sermons led by Reverend Kevin Farmer, prayer, and anointing of the sick and ill.

What We Believe

Claypool United Methodist Church is affiliated with the United Methodist Conference and adheres to central beliefs of the Bible, God’s inspired Word, and the United Methodist Church. We believe in the Holy Trinity, that Jesus Christ is the virgin-born Son of God, who lived on Earth as a man, was crucified, buried, and resurrected on the third day. He ascended into Heaven after forty days, and will return someday for His Church. We believe in the manifestation and operation of the Holy Spirit, not only in worship, but in the life of the Christian believer. We believe that a born-again experience and a relationship with Jesus Christ is essential for spiritual growth.
